I had no idea how extensive his Broadway career was and it made me want to start searching out some of the videos of his performances. Two things were remarkable about this autobiography.
Much too dense for non-entertainment people. This one his the right note by discussing people who were key to the productions and were real contributors to Orbach's story without getting bogged down in the details. The book kept things moving. I really wish I had met him.

The book is as much a tribute to Orbach as anything. Lots of interesting stories and details about the productions he was in and the people he worked with on these shows.
As many details about his last days and lengthy struggle with cancer as has been published. Orbach worked until the end. He didn't want to do anything else. I admit I am a Law and Order junkie The author did a great job of showing us the man, the actor, the singer who also was son, husband, father and friend.
