My Dad worked with Charlie. When me and my sister were small Charlie let us attend several of his outings at the JR Ranch where there was held a day of fun for school bus attendants, kids as well. We had so much fun. I bumped the drivers door into one of the divider lane posts and dented it. I was so upset. I got it back home and we did some repairs and attempted to bang out the dent, not a lot of success. When we returned the car to Charlie and apologized and I was so embarrassed. Charlie was a good man and it was an honor to know him. He was one of the reasons I pursued a career in law enforcement as a Park ranger, for 24 years.
Charlie was the greatest ambassador for all things good. It was truly a pleasure to watch this man interact with anyone he encountered. He will be missed but never forgotten. Tom, So sorry for your loss- how lovely that you celebrated your 50th anniversary. Ginny, high school classmate and friend. Dear Tom and family, Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel at this time.

We and they shared many happy memories on the farmstead in Pleasant Valley first entrusted to Marcus and Jeanne, and then to Bob and Mary. We so sorry to hear this news, Doris was a kind and gentle soul. Our sympathy to all the family. Our thoughts and prayers to the Edholm family. Doris was always so positive and upbeat. She was and is an angel. May god bless you all and provide you with comfort and peace. I remember having her for a recess monitor at school. She was always so happy to be around the kids. Whenever I would see her at her house, she would always say hi and ask how I was doing. There was never a dull moment with Doris. She has changed many lives in a positive way.
Doris was always one of my favorite women in Hudson. My pleasure was working with her for years at GS Electric and seeing her all around town. I will miss her forever young life. My love to you all. Jean and Ron, What heartbreaking news. I did not know Julie, but know how proud of her you were and understand the love of parents. Our sincere sympathy to you and your family. He Instead of a speeding ticket he asked me to get a haircut.
He said he would check with the school principal. I got the haircut and after some time the principal told me he had received a call from Deputy Bader regarding said haircut. This was in , I always smile when I think about that time he gave a kid a break. Thank you for the fine example of kindness. In recent yrs our family has lost track of each other. The Lorenz family sends our deepest sympathy to you girls and Joe.
We like to remember the good memories that we had together when Tiny and my mom Lorraine were alive. I always enjoyed her infectious laugh and stories. She was always one of my favorite cousins. I cannot imagine your pain to lose such a lovely daughter at the prime of her life! So tragic to leave two small children and a husband behind. Hold her close in your memories always! My Prayers are with you and your Family. I knew when I was in the 3M Medical Department from to May she rest in eternal peace. Dear Ron and Jean: And so, as a parent-to-parent, I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and extend my sincere sympathies to you both and your family at this difficult time.
Was privileged to meet Sandy on our first day of nursing school, Sept 2, Instantly drawn to her sweet smile and fun personality. Then there were state boards, chasing down the postal guy to get her results while he stopped for lunch. Then there was 3 wonderful years working our first jobs together and not only living together but being roommates, I had brothers at home, loved living at Bentonshire. I was a mellow gal until I met Sandy and our other partner in crime, Shelley. Julie and I were friends and classmates in Hudson from middle school through high school.
I always enjoyed being around her because of the joy she brought to her daily life. She was so welcoming, funny, smart, and carried many beautiful talents. I have not seen her since one of our return trips home from college but I too enjoyed following her on Facebook through her move to and life in Italy. I send my deepest condolences to Deneb, her wonderful parents-Ron and Jean, John, and her extended family and friends.
The HHS Class of lost one of its best! Ione was one of the sweetest people I knew. She always had a laugh or smile on her face. It was fun when I saw her we always had a lot to talk about. Rest in peace Ione. I was lucky enough to teach at ASM with Julie. I loved her beautiful smile and her welcoming heart. She lit up every room she entered and it was obvious that she loved her students.
She will be greatly missed. I had only one opportunity to visit with Lois before she died. She was a little restless when I arrived, but started settling down nicely as I talked to her. She indicated she liked county also. She was very willing to receive a blessing from me. By the time I was ready to leave, she had calmed down a lot and indicated she wanted to rest. My prayers and sympathies out to all family and loved ones.
I was fortunate to reconnect with the Troyers many years ago through Facebook. Our families were very close when the kids were young. One of my greatest joys was watching Julie in Italy. Seeing all the wedding pictures, being able to watch as she and Deneb had their children.
It was so very evident how in love they were and how much fun they had together. That was the beauty of Facebook, you get to see the joy and support during the sorrow. My heart breaks for Deneb, their children and all the family who are grieving. She was a shining light wherever she landed.
All the photos that were posted, she always had that smile. Hang onto all those memories and that smile. Julie was my flat mate our first year in Italy. We were both so excited to be in Italy and knew how lucky we were to be in a great school. Julie and I lived on Via Mose, in the little village of Opera. We, along with our upstairs neighbors April and Juliet became fast friends.
Julie and I were the lucky ones who had a TV and Saturdays consisted of going to the Opera outdoor market to pick up delicious little chickens cooked on the rotisserie and salad items, going back to the apartment and feasting on our purchases with wonderful red wine. We spent nights exploring the Navigli, dressing in our best dresses and making friendships that would hold strong for years after some of us left ASM.
We traveled together, danced together fell in love with Italians and Italy. It was truly a golden time. Through it all Julie was someone I learned how to teach better, smile bigger, and enjoy life more. When she asked me to write a poem for her wedding I was so touched and honored. Julie had a way of making each person in her life feel special, unique and loved. We are so fragile as have so much to learn. When I think of Julie I will remember to live well and love well in her honor. Ti voglio tanto bene, cara Julie.
You took such good care of mom Margaret. I know you are looking down from heaven. It was truly my pleasure to have known you. When I first came to Wintergreen you were one of the first people I met. Will miss you Ralph. Miss your wit when you came into the store. You were Dad,s honorary pall bearer and now you two can talk again. Prayers for the family. A blessing she was to many.

There are no words to express the sadness you must have at this time. We are praying for everyone during this time of loss. May Jeremy rest in peace! I served with Colin for almost nine years in the USAR, including a 9 month deployment that had us together in an office barely big enough for both of our desks. He had a big heart and cared deeply about the welfare of others. Under the mild exterior, was a man with a sharp sense of dark humor and something just shocking enough to make someone laugh. I am saddened by the recent loss of Sergeant Colin Drake.
I had the privilege of serving alongside him in the United States Army Reserve since He welcomed me into the unit-as my platoon sergeant- with a warm smile. He was passionate about his career in the army and was a model behavioral health specialist. Showing junior enlisted how to work with individuals suffering from mental illness and substance abuse issues. There is a hole in the heart of our unit- he will be missed dearly.
Truly a dedicated student. My deepest condolences to the Drake family and friends for the loss of your loved one Colin. He would of been 39 years old. What are you doing today? Are you drinking coffee? You often said that I was your best friend; you were also one of my best friends as well.

He was such a great son and father and will be missed by all. Sincerely, Dianne and Michael Elavsky. Prayers for all the families. I met Bert in high school and always admired her; her warm spirit, her passion for the outdoors, and that smile that lit up a room. That is the smile that I will always remember. I also admired her sportsmanship and her ability to exceed in whatever she set out to do. While it seemed she had a competitive spirit, I believe she was only competing against herself, she had the desire to prove to herself she was as good as she was.
I am blessed to have known Bert and thank God for her spirit. My prayers, love and sympathies to all of her family. Rest In Peace Tyler! My heart breaks for you and your family over the news of your incredible loss. There are absolutely no words that can be said to truly bring comfort and for that, I am sorry. My heart and thoughts are with you during this time. May you be surrounded by the love of family and friends as you move throughout these next days. May love and comfort be with you. Just reading about him, I can see how much he was loved and gave love.
All I can think is God had a greater need of his quulaloties and qualifications then those of his family on earth…as unfair as that is. I did not know him and his family, but he sounds like a wonderful, caring, giving person. Ali, There are no words I can say to change the reality of your pain but may you be surrounded by the love of God and your family.
