- Eyes of a Pedophile: Detecting Child Predators
It is so important to know that this is what pedophiles think about their behavior. Their minds work differently, with different rules. Their biology is messed up. Do you also think that the widespread practice of mature men marrying young teen girls is pedophilia? This was also commonly done among Jews of Arab countries. Halacha views a 12 year old girl and a 13 year old boy as adults.
Would you have the same reaction if it was a male teacher and a female student? A female teacher and a male student? Sounds normal to me. Even with a big age difference. Mentor-student homosexual relationships were commonplace in Ancient Greece.
It was a society of morally debased people who were educated and cultured. It is repulsive not because of the ages of the people but because the Torah forbids homosexual sex. They are physically adults. The teacher has an obligation not to abuse that power, but doing so is no more of an illness than being a womanizer…. Because of the first reason, relationship outside of marriage is prohibited because marriage delineates and upholds the rights of both parties. Early marriage in Arabic countries, and in shtetl Europe, served to protect young people, not exploit them, and preserved the sanctity of marriage.
Thank you Chana for standing up like Pinchus to preserve the sanctity of our nation. Chana Jenny you have done a tremendously good job, in educating the world about pedophilia. You do it in such a rational and tsnuah way. May you and your family be blessed every second of every day, for this work that you do, which is not easy. I pray that the eyes of the world and the law courts will be opened.
How to spot a pedophile.
That the powers that be will realize that as cruel and barbaric as it seems, hanging by the neck until dead, is the only way to deal with pedophiles. The victims and those who have not yet been victimized come first. Not weird but true — SICK but true. Yes, this is their mind. The most sick thing is that often, they teach the children that their sick, abusive behavior IS love. Perhaps the worst aspect of such child abuse is that the child forever struggles with redefining love from a display of power and abuse to a mutual love that gives and respects.
Such sickness cannot and has not ever been cured by all that psychotherapy can throw at such a monster. They can fake it, but this exact sense of sick love will never change because it their lust is too deeply ingrained. There can never be probation nor rehabilitation — just life in jail, or death penalty. Return to Book Page. Preview — Eyes of a Pedophile by Betty J. Through the Eyes of a Pedophile
Now I do think that if this book would have had a good editor it would have been so much better cause I can see the potential of the author. Some pieces were very well written and she managed to make me interested so I hope she will write another book and if it was not her fault the things I am going to mention then I think she could write a tc bestseller. Okay the story in itself is interesting. You get to know more how s Finished this book a few days ago and alas must say I did not like it much. You get to know more how someone who became not sure that is the correct phrase, did he became one, was he born that way are still a lot of questions not yet answered to satisfaction I do not think, a pedophile and how he grew up and behaved.
So the good is the writing but o boy the bad is plenty alas. First of all I did not know about this case but what annoyed me immediately was the assumption that everybody that read s this book knows everything about it. Zachary was mentioned in the beginning, first page that he had disappeared while walking on the streets but then nothing.
All of a sudden his disappearance was mentioned and then in 2 sentences that apparently the parents had been big suspects as well. That would have been interesting to read so I do not understand why there was hardly anything about the boy's life or that of his family. In one way his case was used as the reason why you would wanna read this book. It felt weird that there was so little about him. Then in one of the last chapters we learn that the boy;s mum did not think Zachary had died so she helped the defense.
It was all very confusing and the assuming we all know did not help.
Let's see my notes: Okay I see I was fuming about the way they released him just to get him of their hands and did not notify anyone that he was a sexual predator. All in all a decent book but too much jumping and assuming. May 11, Tony Latham rated it it was amazing.

Kuffel has produced in this great read. I had a friend who worked on the Bar-Jonah case and thus I followed the trial in the news; however, Kuffel's personal observations during the trial trumped any news article that I read. Her passion derived from experience as an emergency room physician treating the child victims of this all-too common and hideous crime leaps from the pages. If you want to keep your head in the sand, don't read this book. Mar 30, Deborah Epperson rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book is not always an easy read, but if you have children, I highly recommend it.
Betty Kuffel's chilling account of Nathanael Bar-Jonah - a terrifying pedophile and killer.
Eyes of a Pedophile: Detecting Child Predators
Kuffel shows how Bar-Jonah evolved into a hunter of innocent children. I live near where Bar-Jonah preyed on children, and it is chilling and scary to know these pedophiles live among us. As we go along with our daily routines, they are on the hunt for our children. Kuffel's book gives This book is not always an easy read, but if you have children, I highly recommend it.
Kuffel's book gives readers the information they need to protect children and save them from monsters like Bar-Jonah. May 22, Dana C. Kuffel's focus on how pedophiles behave along with an index to commonalities and how to keep kids safe is great. As a true-crime book I was drawn in by the legal loopholes this creep used to get himself out of trouble.
