Lorraine Kennedy is an American Indian Author of mixed heritage. Life in Common with Bastien is every bit as blissful as Rosie hoped. With her family close, and the drama of Avalon far away, Rosie focuses on being the best aunt to Lane's new baby.
She tries to hide her vampire nature as best she can from public view, hoping to avoid any reminders of her time in Avalon. When Link shows up on her doorstep with an unexpected guest, Rosie realizes that just because she doesn't need Avalon, doesn't mean that Avalon doesn't need her. Her company specializes in global data analysis for an elite group of industry executives, and now a lucrative government contract is moving her into the realm of cutting-edge intelligence gathering.
She is determined to crack the limits of consciousness--and in doing so, the boundaries of secrets and lies. But her experiment crashes as test subjects slide into a coma-like state. Reese is left scrambling to maintain control, drawing three disparate people into the search for answers--an adrenaline-amped thrill junkie with altered brain chemistry, an Italian scientist working on remote-viewing technology, and a math prodigy whose algorithms subvert computer encryption. Will this piecemeal team prevail when a government operative is sent to investigate? As the threads of perception and reality become tangled and even time itself twists in unexpected directions, one warning remains clear: With a concept so daring and writing so gripping, readers will swiftly fall under the spell of Thomas Locke's endlessly creative mind.xamabulllu.ml/map6.php
Born to Darkness
This thrilling psychological journey into the very nature of causation and consciousness will leave them turning the pages and grasping for solid ground. I'd like to set that story straight. It all began with a girl, a curse, and wolf. We all have a hero inside. All it takes is to believe. Kinda left you hanging Mar 24, Kristi rated it really liked it Shelves: Not amazingly good, but pretty good for such a short story about 75 pages ebook format. The love and chemistry between Nicole and Alec was almost instantaneous, but it felt natural and meant to be.
It was fun watching their love blossom and steam up over the course of the book. The plot was suspenseful and kept my interest throughout the book. With the book being faced-paced, it helps maintain your interest, without a surplus of filler words and similar. There are a few grammatical errors in the book example: May 03, Jamie rated it did not like it Shelves: Whatever you do, DON'T listen to the audiobook of this. I really don't like having to give such a low score, but the narrators were so bad, it actually made me wince at times just to hear the halting lines and over-acting. Then at the change of each chapter, you're forced to listen to some awful music. It reminded me a bit of the old tapes and book sets for kids where the tape Whatever you do, DON'T listen to the audiobook of this. It reminded me a bit of the old tapes and book sets for kids where the tape would make a chime sound to prompt the child to turn the page of the book where they were reading along.
Unless you are into torturing yourself or those around you, I'd say to pass on the audiobook version for sure. I don't even think I'll try to continue this series even in ebook format. Oct 08, Tina rated it liked it. Well another vampire story with so much potential but it just didn't get you there. The story was good and the plot is different but it was rushed and the characters seemed to get close in too little time.

Nicole is very dark, she lives with hurt over the death of her brother. When she meets Alec, a vampire, her lack of surprise at entering this supernatural world is unusual. Apart from her mother every other character is a vampire. This should have been a good story but is just l Free download. This should have been a good story but is just lacked that thing that kept you reading, it's not a series I would continue reading. Mar 25, Lisa rated it liked it.
The overall story and the ideas were excellent but it was way to rushed, too fast, nothing developed, it just was. The writing was a bit immature in places and there were some holes. I think this could evolve into something really good if the author addressed and corrected some things. May 27, Bella Marie rated it liked it. I really couldnt remeber what was all about this book. After I re read the summary I remembered everything. Other that the silly way you can see Paradise is a good book.
But nothing that will change the way you look the world though the vampire is extra extra hot and yummie. Mar 17, Nicole rated it did not like it. This book made me never want to read a vampire story every again. Because it was so bad. It was very short and cheesy.
The only thing that was good was the plot was good until it was messed up. That you for such an also me book. Vampire love Love any kind of vampire romance they always live up to your expectations. Easy reading that gets right into the action. Good read Enjoyed this book immensely Would recommend it to anyone to read if they enjoy vampire and love stories its great.
This one didn't work for me. It was just a girl and a rock-star vampire hooking up and getting dirty.
There were other situations at work, but I needed more vampire problems. Not bad It wasn't bad, I thought I was going to not like it but I did. I don't know if it's me. But I was left needing more. Over all not bad. Nov 04, Fallon Farmer rated it it was amazing. I like this vampire Story. It is different then others but has originality. Born to Darkness (Immortal Destiny, #1) by Lorraine Kennedy
I give it a 5Star. I recommend it to all that like Vampires and passion, desire, romance and a twist to the story. Though I must write a caution that it has mature content! This is the story of Nicole and Alec and their search for a way to destroy an evil vampire who wants domination over the vampire world.
