The best leaders drive their team forward with passion, enthusiasm, inspiration and motivation. Invest time in the people you lead to determine their strengths, needs, and priorities. An excellent communicator aims to make sure that their message is understood.
The skill of communication grows from the ability to listen. Listening is as critical as talking. An good leader listens more than they talk. A leader must be a dreamer. A productive leader is someone who can see into the future. The challenge for every visionary leader is not to get so far ahead of the team in what they know that they leave them behind. This behavior causes a group to feel lost and wondering about the future direction.
A visionary is a dreamer, but they are also a strong communicator of their dream. Effective leadership has certain, basic, visionary, characteristics. Good leaders take their work seriously. However, they do not mind laughing at themselves.

There is nothing more defeatist than a dishonest or lying leader. A strong leader has strong convictions. Ethical living and leadership will take courage and conviction. When a leader makes decisions based on core values, then it makes a clear statement that they cannot be bought. The effective ethical leader leads by example. Being an effective leader is not easy. However, it is necessary for the success of any organization or team.
Being able to convey a commitment to a clear purpose and cause is essential. The passion of the cause fuels real dedication. If there is no passion, then there is no moti vation for the cause. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Just want to say thank you for your insight. After brainstorming my mind went blank and I began to Google ways to put those ideas into something that would flow. Effective leaders inspire loyalty and goodwill in others because they themselves act with integrity and trust. Decisive and impassioned, they are capable of bold and courageous moves.
Confident in their ability to deal with situations as they arise, they can tolerate ambiguity. All leaders must excel at personal proficiency. This is probably the toughest of the five domains to train and some individuals are naturally more capable than others. All leaders must have one towering strength. Most successful leaders assume at least one of the four roles in which they excel and most are personally predisposed to one of the four areas.
These are the signature strengths of your leaders. It is possible to train someone to learn how to be strategic, execute, manage talent, and develop future talent. There are behaviors and skills in each domain that can be identified, developed, and mastered. Leaders must be able to grow. The higher up the organization that the leader rises, the more he or she needs to develop excellence in more than one of the four domains.
